The Saint Andrew Society (Glasgow) charitable trust

The Trust was set up in 1973 with money bequeathed to the Society by the late John Clark of San Diego California. Its aims are:

  • To help enrich the cultural life and heritage of Scotland
  • To cultivate public interest in the history and culture of Scotland by such means as visiting and preserving places of historic and national interest
  • To cooperate with other charitable trusts in promoting such objectives
  • To assist where appropriate in offering help to underprivileged young people, the elderly and any suffering from illness or any other incapacity
  • To contribute to the advancement of education and training particularly where this is relevant to the above aims
